He’s never had one album that dropped without a single months in advance. The shortest window was Starboy’s with two months between the single and album drop. Even Dawn FM’s faux surprise-drop had a lead single that came out five months in advance.

Why were you expecting this album anytime soon when we still have no single two weeks before the Sao Paolo show?

My whole thing was, I never thought he would do a whole ass concert just to drop a single. To me, that seemed - and still seems - a lil weird and crazy

horror vibes were fantastic, all I’ll say is this, the xenomorphs are smart in this one, the face huggers are too. Making everyone have to think more, it’s great at using horror to its advantage. Plus how horror is used, unconventionally in comparison to how you expect it to go down from what you see in the trailer(s). It’s great, the movie plays out well to how you see in the trailer, then it starts to turn and it just goes elsewhere than expected. The ending is f***ing WEIRD

Not saying it as some “gotcha”, just saying I don’t understand why people are treating this like a bad album rollout when there’s been extreme clarity the whole time

It seems like he’s taking a page out of Ye’s playbook and using the live event as promo for the album. That’s what it always seemed like to me.

Album release live events usually get labeled as listening parties or album celebration events, this was never marketed as such

It’s obvious the movie is being held up, which is postponing the album to some degree, however he chooses to fix the situation, well, I’ll be shocked.

It’s not even that this is a bad “rollout” cause it hasn’t even really started, it’s just a s*** show when it comes to teasing. Started teasing this in February, was obviously told to put the brakes on the whole s***, now here we are…

I wonder if any of the “alien” themes will tie in with what he was doing on 4:23 “they tried to take my soul”

I wonder if he will fight to be himself or even be kidnapped by the “angels” to join them and they try to make him like them… which would explain the tour fits…

I wonder how everything will link in the end, I’m excited to see what he has done to tie everything together.
