I hate talking about numbers, but do you guys think this will be bigger than After Hours?
JESUS!
Sometimes no promo/rollout really is better than pulling the whole song and dance
Nice fan fiction?
I mean a lot of the latter is my opinion and we all what those are worth
But if you think the Marilyn Monroe bedroom story is false or max screaming Billie Jean in reaction to hearing ICFMF that’s just not a fact
“At first I had to make it clear that when any producers work on my album, they have to come into my world. Max and I bashed heads, but it only made our relationship stronger. I knew that I was jumping into different waters and he knew he was working with a different kind of artist.”

I don’t really know how the streaming numbers work fully because I’m not a Drake stan or a music sxn rainman, but I don’t see this album having a song with the staying power of Blinding Lights or a late surge like SYT
But then again, maybe because the fact that this album seems like one that will age well might help with long term numbers? Like someone said a page ago, the numbers aren’t front-ended at all

Nice
I'm telling you, that guy we love is still in there. I don't know if this is the last album he has with Republic (could be?) and it seems like this might be the end of The Weeknd as we know (Guardian review seems to think it will be possibly due to something someone has said to them, Jim Carrey: "you may even forget your own name", general concept of dying after being stuck in purgatory/finally reaching the light at the end of the tunnel, album cover showing him to be old and wizened after the Faustian pact in the Sacrifice vid - implying some sort of rebirth/re-brand to come) - a decade later, like a crazy f***er, I am still hopeful that this guy is going to pull through and put out an all time project that dusts Trilogy and KL. He can 100% do it, and I will wait for him patiently.
I hopefully for future Abel for the first time since 2012/13 tbh.
He knows what he’s doing and in that I trust.

i think sacrifice has potential (not blinding lights level) to be bigger than save your tears tbh
Is there someone else
Holy f***
Still has me shook
Abel a fool
IS THERE SOMEONE ELSE
OR NOT
A full instrumental of the pitched up singing at the start/end of the track is needed though
Album like a microdose when I wanted the full dose. DMT is released when you die but again it feels like I wanted songs extended and more weirdness or his weirdest riskiest stuff at end but it just ends.
Definitely interested in Deluxe/ where he goes next

Next album will be him in heaven or hell embracing what he hates (according to this album)

If AH deluxe songs are any indication then we’re in for a treat. Especially the fact that there’s different vinyl covers and such too
Let's-a go!
PS. Alright alright the cover looks slightly less ass than I gave it credit. There's something neat about it, just a little.

This was exactly my critique of Gasoline. It felt too short he should have done more with it
