Dont recognize any of those posters.

There is a lot of sensible posters that enjoy both.

JESUS!
Thats crazy with just a week of promo
goddamn he really loved Sacrifice
This album is a masterpiece bro.
He really poured his heart into this album.
Much respect to Weeknd
If i was born today and you told me out of time was an MJ song i wouldnt even question you
He is at such a creative peak, that few artists has ever been in. We are talking about one of the absolute greatest artists right here. I dont think I am exaggerating either.
JESUS!
Goddamn
abel's face lmaoooo
https://twitter.com/MementoMoriXO/status/1479766437661130752I thought he was crying for a min
JESUS!
Talk about consistency lmao

It sounds insane to say that but in terms of legends of the modern era, he is surely setting himself up to be up there.

Without a doubt. Once in a life time artist

He is making timeless music. A lot of his songs will age great and has aged great already.
I dont think his music will sound out-dated at all in the future and there is already a lot of sentimental and nostalgic feel to most of it.
He is building a great legacy and he will only be 32 years old soon. Hope he can continue for many more years. He is at his absolute peak as an artist and as a creative at the moment. Things will happen in life but that is where he is right now. We can only enjoy it.
I get chills every time when the "and you can kick me, kick me to the curb" comes on Starry Eyes

His streams are becoming less frontloaded with the years. It’s definitely head-scratching, he had the biggest song 2020 and the 2nd biggest last year, I guess it speaks volumes how mainstream he has become.
when Abel walked out of Marilyn Monroe’s room after writing “I Can’t Feel My face”
And they laid that synth over it….
I believe that moment exactly was the real seed planted for this album as a whole.
Rather if at the moment Max screamed out
“ BILLE F***ING JEAN!” or in post.
The whole concept again of acceptance
as I wrote in a long winded thread hereabout the chapters of “The Weeknd” and each one related to the stages of grief fits perfect here too,
Look, from the start of any of this he knew he could sing like MJ which is a nice blessing
Yet also the curse of knowing he will always draw the (impossible) comparisons.
So add that with knowing
NOBODY….NOPE NO. F***ING. ONE.
will EVER be the performer that MJ was,
(But a super bowl performance came)
He can’t dance like MJ could
(….and still can’t but that’s okay, he got some lessons and found his divine bugaloo)
And it takes me back to my point,
He could have taken this route early on as many desparate artists who went from full on control freak in Japan* trying to strike the same vein in vain, To the “Hills”
Once he gained trust in Max I think he accepted that this is what everyone but it wasn’t time then and if it was in your face nostalgic it had to have a damn good gimmick
(Enter Dawn FM RADIO103.5!)
That’s why it’s a character in a story,
What’s the next chapter?
Dusk?
Afterlife?
….Monday?’
Maybe we’ll get “Escape to LA” the album sounds fun and we can just drop a d***ged out 50-60 minute mix of lonely star,initiation,insomnia,hob/gtg type songs
I don’t think we’re done this year
