I’m expecting the album to be extremely versatile and the most rapping & singing he’s done yet. His loosies were some of the best songs of the year and a ton of his features went crazy. I doubt he’s gonna get very personal outside of a love song or two but he be saying some fly catchy s*** that makes you feel good. He’s on some s*** and it’s gonna be a good album I’ve got no doubt about it

I think they’ve been good but not great and that’s part of my issue. Like there’s a lot of rappers that have dropped good albums back to back and don’t get remotely similar amounts of praise that he gets

S***, a quick Google search will tell you that See You Again is a bigger song than Praise the Lord in regards to chart success, certifications, and streaming numbers. I had no idea See You Again was at 2B on Spotify

808s had massive hits but was also very polarizing don't leave that part out, people were mixed on it after the huge pop album Graduation was.

And yes, Tyler is never going to come close to a Love Lockdown or a Heartless but part of it is not just cuz of his music but also because the type of stardom Kanye had coming off Graduation and into 808s is hard to recreate in the years following.

Not to mention Tyler spent the latter half of the 2010s rehabbing his image after all the satanic edgelord s*** pushed people away from him

I would also say that Tyler hates Auto-Tune and he rather stay in the Pharrell/Neptunes bubble than to dive deep into Ye territory.

He may have learn aspects of sampling from Ye, but everything musically about stays within of Neptunes influence

It's one of the reasons why I want to put the worlds of Ye, Cudi, Travis along with the worlds of Pharrell, Chad, and Travis together.

I want to be the bridge/middle child of their influence.

I already know how to orchestrate and create dynamic arrangements like Pharrell and Tyler.

Now my goal next is to learn chopping and sampling techniques like Ye and create/expand the track to whole new territories.

Also dive deep into Cudi/Travis territory when it comes to making somber synth s*** like 808s, MOTM, or parts of OP.
