I think it's the amount of people who don't actually participate in the critic game or threads. If OP linked all his threads then we can update the list much better
Reminder that voting is more important than ever, every vote counts. We did it Joe
Meg album probably in my top 10
Cardi and Ella Mai are probably two of my most listened women artists besides Meg. Those 3 make better music than a lot of male artists.
so 3 of 10 (or 1 of 10 if you only meant you listen to the latter 2 rather than have them in your top 10)
i did say the majority would be men
the best music this year was by far made by women so I don't know about that one.
The Weeknd and Pop Smoke are women?
This statement is only true for rap
More so in rap sure, but the best rock artists are generally male, the greatest pop star of all time is male, the greatest rnb artist of all time is male
obviously theres crazy talented female artists, but if youre doing a top 10 its not really a shock that not many/if any women would be included
not my fault if you stay ignorant of great music on a music site b
kpop is terrible anyway, if we're being real

Ichikoa Aoba isn't a kpop artist
Yukika's album is city pop, barley any traces of what you'd call "traditional kpop", much more so jpop if anything, not that kpop in itself is strictly a genre regardless, it's more of descriptor of an industry.

im just going off what google told me when i searched their names... ill try and listen to 1 or 2 of their songs.
If its bad it will further prove my point though

I did vote responses straight in the the threads back in the day, but It was way too tedious to manually count all the votes and to weed through all the troll posts. Also you had ppl voting albums a 6.1111954/10 and not answering questions properly.
I love Nas but that album was so mid, I’m happy as hell that it got nominated for a Grammy tho
ktt awards with high voter turnout would probably be better but I'm not sure if artists like fiona and jessie would make the top 10, ftbc is extremely divisive, yves and phoebe might have a chance but I don't know if they prevail against some of those rap albums, ig there's gonna be subcategories so they might still get their flowers
Sorry bud, didn’t see this.
Well if it’s done by rating then I reckon it’ll get a fair shot. Also can do like rating x amount of votes or something. Also it’s more so just everyone posting their top 10 with ratings so all albums will somewhat get a fair shot outside of extremely obscure ones.
Not 100% certain on how to make it work but it’s a good opportunity to really showcase this sites thoughts on this years music.
Categories done by genre is also a good idea.
