Furthest thing from a Pats fan, but those final few Brady teams were pitiful, only the combined brilliance of Brady and Bill kept them good.

They've had 3 years to rebuild that awful collection of talent, and that failure and blame can probably go to Belichick, but the fact that they didn't immediately fall off the face of the earth when Brady left (and even went 10-7 one year) is a testament to Bill.

Its less about him as a coach and more about him as a GM. He has been absolutely horrible at finding offensive talent, even dating back to the final few Brady years as you mentioned. We honestly had no business winning that 2018 superbowl with a hobbled edelman as our best offensive skill player

Need the o line to get its s*** together. Strange and Onwenu are obviously still working their way back. But the tackle spots are sheeeeeesh.

Also I get why Bill benched Pop, he’s a rookie who has had a lot of hype so you can’t let him go back in there after such a critical turnover. But boy could they use his explosive playmaking. Our offense is too slow without him.
