They obviously needed to go 4 downs so they were trying to make the 4th down more manageable

I don’t agree with the screen. I would have took a shot then try to move the ball 3-5 yards closer

Terrible start, bad penalties and booty blew it twice

Mac looked pretty good and so did the defense on the bright side

Defense looked amazing.

Offense looked hot and cold.

We had two opportunities to win it at the end. This game is kind of proof that we will never compete with the best of the AFC right now. We need to find a way to win these games.

We were playing against the defending NFC Champions, with a ton of rookies playing a large bulk of snaps, including both of our guard spots against one of the best pass rushes in the league. And it was the first game of the season and it was raining.

And we’re going to be getting our two starting guards back very soon (one of which is probably our best offensive player in Onwenu).

And we were one or two plays away from winning it.

I’d say we did pretty damn good, all of that considered

He outplayed hurts yesterday

hurts sucked yesterday. mac played decent but in this loaded ass afc you really need elite not decent

the stadium upgrades and the new light house look good but idk about the bell.

I noticed the weak looking throws too for sure. That being said, I’d like to see him throw next week under normal conditions when the ball isn’t slippery.

I know it’s no excuse since he plays in the North East and Brady was great in the rain/snow, but I do feel like he’s usually way more accurate than he showed yesterday.

Yeah idk about it either, but I do love the idea in general of having past players get to stand at the top of the lighthouse at the start of games, and the bell gives them reason to do so

yea true they just need to tweak it. the bell needs to be much bigger and more integral to the light house. not just a small removable bell they put on the balcony. if the bell was built into the lighthouse it could be sick.

or, make it a huge fog horn which is more in line with the light house motif. but we still use the fog horn sound on third downs dont we? so that could be redundant (you cant have it start the game AND be used on third downs).

This has been the story since Mac arrived. We can hang with good to great teams, but we never finish the game. At some point we have to stop awarding moral victories.

He makes the right reads, but I noticed some of his throws are a little late on arrival.
