I'm not sure if the reports about friction between Mac and the organization are true, but if they are, I think he needs a kick in the ass. He hasn't earned anything in this league. He's not in a position to question Bill's decisions about the coaching staff and offensive scheme. I understand he had success with McDaniels, but come on -- Mac isn't entitled to anything.

my expectations for this year haven't changed. 9 or 10 wins. outside shot at a wild card. not a super bowl contender. but we'll reload for 2023 and hopefully be a SB contender then. we've got some likely wins coming up which will have people hyping us, then some tougher games in the second half which will make us come back to earth.

all this said, I f***ing love bill belichick and it's so great to never be bad and he should have a lifetime contract and I hope he coaches another 10 years. Monday night will be fun.

While I do think he should return to be the starter when he’s healthy, I do not want him back until he is FOR SURE 100%. And based on what the injury was reported as I don’t see that being the case yet.

Especially given that we’re only playing the Bears anyway lol

For record, I do not in any way, shape, or form approve of Mac playing tonight when this is the short end of timetable and he said he was at 85 to 90 percent a few days ago.

It’s the Bears, we would be totally fine without him. It’s ridiculous to put him in until he’s 100%.
