That was a lot more fun than I expected it to be. Give Zappe the start next week. He played his heart out.
Only saw highlights but zappe going against a HOF in his first game looked decent. Definitely needs to work on sensing the pressure better, and feeling the pocket collapsing.
Also in his highlights, a lot of floated balls down field. I don’t like that s***, put it on a line. I feel like floated passes are a sign of low confidence but that’s just me
Post Brady Pats has been hell
we made the playoffs last year. we just took the packers to overtime in GB. we drafted a potentially good 1st round QB.
if this is hell, what do you call what most NFL franchises go through?

Ask Cleveland, Houston, Jets, and so on lmao
Zappe playing instead of hoyer makes me 100x more interested in this season until mac back
Let the kids play and grow. Revamp this sorry ass offense next year. We got too much money tied to mediocre ass players
Winnable game today but it’s gonna be close
This is what I'm afraid of. Hypothetically, we should outclass the Lions in terms of coaching, preparation etc. But something will happen to make it closer than it should be.
great win. 2-3. and this is our next 4 weeks before the bye:

And the Jets again right after the bye
Love Zap, but to be fair, Zappe hasn’t been respected as a passer the same way Mac is. There are so many throws he’s making where our receivers are completely open with no DB near them.
But he’s moved well and made great reads and gotten better each week.
Mac still definitely has the job, but he’s gotta know that he needs to show progress from last season if he wants to keep his starting job.

Nah I actually think that's how the offense supposed to look. Mac Jones got those same easy throws and missed them

If mac comes out there and gives us another predictable 220 yards 1 td 1 int game , you have to go back to zapper right?
