There's a rapper that sues Hesh and is super rich and smart in the first season

Then there is a 50 Cent stand-in in the later seasons when Tony is hospitalized

And another rapper at the hospital pays bobby to shoot him so he can get his street cred up

Thought he d get an arc and s*** cuz his scene was soul searching. Then next think I know Jackie gets popped

Guess they did that intentionally to look like they were setting up a Jackie redemption story, only for it to turn out that ralphie succumbed to the Tony pressure and put the call in and BANG

Lol I also thought he was gonna have an interesting arc, not a plot device for Jackie jr. That boy Jackie jr was a s***head. Also that Noah kid that Meadow brought home. F*** Tony for the racist s*** tho

Yeah Tony with the out in the open racism was nuts but that kid really was a little b**** rich kid

Meadow was a f*** boy magnet

Same thing happened with the guy that died on the toilet right after getting a hit sanctioned on him

scenes like this are reminder that the show was made before prestige television was a thing. I always thought that death was just silly.

Had a dream I was with Tony on his last day.

Just finished the show ngl I wanted to see a more conclusive ending with the aftermath of his death and if Paulie was involved. I don’t really like ambiguous endings like this but it was cool. Don’t stop believing was a great song choice too

Imo this is one of the endings that is better when you know about the infamous cut to black before hand. I thought it was crazy 10/10 ending when I watched it bc I knew it was leading up to that. But I understand people who felt let down by it because it was so unexpected

Idk man these guys take d****, eat like crap, drink alcohol and smoke all day, doesnt sound unrealistic to me that one of em gets a heart attack in middle age

Theory i believe is Butchie ordered the hit on Tony after willingly giving away Phil, and they used Paulie and Patsy as collaborators. The Soprano family gets absorbed by the Lupertazzis and Paulie and Patsy get made capos of whatever crews are left there

If you watched this ending without seeing the show, you'd think this was some sweet family sitcom with the whole cast meeting together + the upbeat song. Then you get that haunting cut to black at "Don't stop" maaan

Paulie definitely involved in Tony's death one way or another

Feel like scenes like Tony trashing the painting in Paulie house, Paulie saying he never comes around no more, him kinda scheming with Vito while Tony was in the hospital, and most importantly Tony deciding not to kill him on the boat, hint at that

I mean, he was clearly anxious during that dinner wasn't he? Even if Tony didn't die during the last scene, he would have been whacked just another time or he would have died for natural causes but he would have passed his entire life looking behind his shoulders. Man was everything but happy and unfortunately he failed with therapy.

I didn't mean it that way. Just with the song and him just having dinner with his family, it's a calm feeling. It's not like a cinematic fire fight or anything. He's just enjoying some time with his family and then in a split second it's over
