rich baby daddy, first person shooter, and idgaf all charted 20+ weeks before going recurrent. those are hits.
He could probably come close but i think he would fall short of 400k. It would be even lower if he dropped 2 other albums.
But 21 feat adds nothing if anything is a negative. Future feat only really gave boost cause 1 the song is good, 2 cause they had beef and made up, Future boost dont always work ie jcole.
But i like Future feats because his feats are usually his songs so it can bring something different to an artists album.
I feel you. Didn’t mean Future/21 specifically, but a few big mainstream artists on that type of level on commercial sounding tracks. Kendrick typically doesn’t go for other big rappers, so I doubt it anyways.
They went from calling this the biggest album release ever to “at least we still can outsell the surprise album GNX”

Yea outside of like 5 rappers no rapper would really add anything sales wise. Kendrick and Drake are so big and so many people fell off even from 3-4 years ago. They dont really need to work with big rappers to sell. For them feats should be elevating the music.
I kinda agree tho if kendrick wanted to now he could outsell Drake but it would take stepping out the box. Kendrick could easily sellout and get huge pop feats cause they all like him. Gnx or damn 2 is not enough though.
But he could get Taylor, Sza, Miley, Bruno, Lady Gaga, BTS etc they would all give him a feat if he asked imo. maybe even rihanna and beyonce. Then still have rap songs for his core audience.
why would drake fans scramble. Iceman is gonna outsell gnx and drake is gonna keep dominating the billboard 200 chart like always. nothing's changed. he's untouchable
again, you so worried about kendrick you cant just enjoy the music. is drake not the best just because you love his music the most? wtf do numbers got to do with it?

if numbers don't matter why are you guys in here caping for kendrick

im out here laughing at the over emphasis of numbers. and yes, its funny when people(like some drake fans) make s*** all about numbers and then the numbers show that poeple tuned in to see what he'd say and then tuned out. its the duality of it, dont say the numbers make him the best and then when the numbers dont reflect that then it must be cause of an orchestrated elimination or bots
f*** the numbers, if the music is dope to you then its dope

yes lol if someone posts in here a lot to push narratives to favor their favorite rapper, they can't turn around and pretend to not care about numbers when they get pushback. thats loser s***

Of course he’s trying to validate it as if dude wasn’t just having a normal conversation, it’s like a weird defense mechanism
Noah outsold Harry
Taylor wont even finish top 10 btw
Actually incredible that she's seen in the #1 tier
Let’s gooo new cope
exactly what you were doing with gnx btw
But but but its 12 songs!
but but but surprise release!
you had 20+ posts on KTT telling everyone it was gonna do a million first week LMAO
All i said was squabble up and tv off out performed anything on iceman first week
Can't have your cake and eat it too -- having more tracks on an album provides the opportunity for more total streams, as you love to point out, AND dilutes total streams across the album so individual tracks will receive less attention. Feel like this is just common sense
They went from calling this the biggest album release ever to “at least we still can outsell the surprise album GNX”
in reality this is just FATD again lol. Which is good for Drake, this means he's a sales giant regardless of the beef, but niggas were gassing this up like he dropped Carter 3

stan s*** aside, is having a fewer amount of songs not a logical reason why an album would have less streams?
If some new s*** just dropped and I have enough time to listen to 24 songs... I can listen to every song on a 12-track album 2x OR listen to every song on a 24-track album 1x. To ignore this is to assume that somehow everyone has unlimited music-listening time which is just kind of dumb
