no doggystyle did not sale 6 mill in 1993. the album came out at the end of november giving it just over 1 month of sales in the year of 1993.

The link you posted shows album sales throughout it's entire lifespan, Doggystyle was released in November so it couldn't have sold 6 million copies in 1993.

like you said before, the year lists base it off the year the album was released and then followed by its entire lifespan rather than how many albums were sold that year.
the link i posted was billboards year end list showing how many albums were sold in that year no matter the year it was released.
doggystyle was the third best selling album of 94.

The song was only included on the first physical pressings of the album too back in the day and was removed on future pressings.
