Excited for the rest
Any word on if they’ll do any live dates?

Mark implied that it's an interest, but it sounds like if there's a tour it'd be a Thom solo tour that Mark may open for.
No details on that.
Mark Pritchard + Thom Yorke - Tall Tales
Album out May 9.
Feature-film from Jonathan Zawada on the way as well (most likely a compilation of music videos for all 12 songs).

"RHEUK2025" probably means a tour in late 2025 in Europe and UK.
People will run with this as them being "back" or an album being imminent, but please understand this is not the case lmao

I would imagine that means new music because I recall Thom saying Radiohead will never be a legacy act

There have been some insiders (not to jinx anything or sound annoying) that have implied Nigel may have retired (or has beef with the band or both), and I just do not see the band making a new album without his production.
A Moon Shaped Pool was slaved over and took multiple years to record. If they tour in late 2025, it's highly likely they haven't touched the studio at all, so this feels more like a reunion tour to get back in the swing of things (and make people stop thinking RH is dead and begging for RH to do stuff)

Ya, I saw speculation of Nigel breaking off ties with the band. Would suck because he’s essentially a member of the band, and integral to their sound

They're uploading stuff related to the Bends 30th. May not be leading to anything, but cool nonetheless.

Wonder if it was political?
Wonder if it was political?
I think that's unlikely.
If it was about the Gaza war, the producer Thom and the Smile works with the most now is explicitly pro-Palestine. Nigel himself actually said he doesn't support cultural/artistic boycotts a few years back too. Ed O'Brien's also called Israel's actions genocide as well. Jonny's the only one with absolute s*** politics, but he's also someone that I don't see drawing lines over it.
