Why is there always some weird ass dude like you who gets off on these types of comments lol. "you don't know how so and so works"
my guy its an extremely easy thing to understand.
Because it's a fact you guys are the type to try to find illogical solutions for pre established ideas and think its the most genius shi ever your really just annoying as f***
only if you take his point in the most literal sense.
like sure the apple i bought doesnt disappear even if the farmer who made it does, but all of the future apples will. that farmer is necessary for the production of something with a lot of use value to me.
same doesnt hold true for a guy whos only involvement is having a claim to the house
but at least in this current system if a landlord disappear then so does the source that pays for the construction of these housing units right ?
I'm against rent, and no, that would not be fine.
so how would new houses be built? if ur against developers
What do you consider as shelter? A place to sleep at night? because the ditch in my neighbourhood can be considered a shelter
not to any reasonable person

the workers who are actually necessary for the construction still exist. they can be compensated by the community/government etc.
because we are not a******s who buy up homes in order to steal from the working class
you realize some millionaires rent their homes too right?

Oh s*** its almost as if landlords don't supply housing
some do tho.... some actually build apartment complexes
Why are the landlords not supplying the 500k homeless people with houses
because they only invested in those houses in the first place to make money......

Landlords are not developers

if landlords won't provide charity to the poor, which capitalists tout as the foil to communism, then why shouldn't they be taxed immense amounts for private, non-personal property to provide for the welfare of those who don't have a way to earn their own money?

yeah I agree that gov/community would be able to pay for housing. But just getting rid of landlords won't do anything when they're just a branch to the real issue. Cause as of right now in this current system they're definitely necessary. I'm sure there wouldn't be landlords if the government allocated free housing

I didn’t say anything about taxes
that’s fine
