I finally got a chance to sit and listen to this and give it attention. I think it’s pretty good. The beats are very interesting, I like how different they really are, it makes me want to listen to songs multiple times. I keep seeing people say stuff about his lyrics, but I really enjoy what Jay E has going on, can’t say of it didn’t fly over my head tho lol. Thought Hov was fantastic, got me wanting another solo album from him, he has wisdom for days. I do wish the vocals were louder on ‘Shiny Suit Theory’ tho, feels like they get drowned a little but it’s a minor complaint.

jay elect's production on this is a very impressive surprise. also, he's had a lot of these beats done for at least two years...he basically played the first two minutes of the album on instagram a while ago with the farrakhan intro on live once. he's also played a few of the beats in video posts over the past two years, including the alchemist song.
