Exodus - Bonded By Blood 🤘🏻

You’re liking the thrashy stuff I see. Pretty dope, lotta great thrash out there.

Plus it’ll make it easier for us to get you hooked on death metal

oh yeah. Schizophrenia, Beneath the Remains and Arise is a great 3 album streak. the really early stuff kinda underrated too s*** is raw af

Those albums are so dope, I also really love Chaos A.D., they’ve always been kinda underrated I feel like.

yeh see that’s the feeling i get like we all agree beatles put pop on the international map and made it what it is, n like nwa birthed gangsta rap as we know it but feels ppl look down if you say that fr metallica regarding metal

cuz sabbath did first and ahead of their time

mop used to be n1 for me but justice took over because it’s such a unique record in many ways, very cold, you can tell they’re hurt

also is it me or this song really on some punk s***?

lol one of my fav tho, love it

the production is weird on Justice but i dont really mind that much now that Im used to it, makes it more unique. blackened

yeah i like the punk influence on thrash especially on kill em all

I was just playing anyway. There’s so many subgenres available that you can always find something cool to listen to. So if you never get into the really heavy growls and screams, no worries bro

feel like the production helps in making the album feel so hurt, an absence.. the structures of the song is so smart too, feels like the most complex metallica album?

fr tho kill em all a banger

    thats very true

but metallica made popular the actual metal as we know if that makes sense, black sabbath more put the seeds no?

depends what you mean by "actual metal as we know". I would say what you are saying is more accurate if you referring to extreme metal, bands like Metallica and Slayer mainly were really the first extreme metal. before Metallica there were still very popular traditional metal bands like Judas Priest and Iron Maiden in the mainstream.

so I would say that Black Sabbath essentially invented metal and put it on the map

while Metallica (leading the wave among some others) put extreme metal on the map and planted the seeds for styles like death metal and black metal
