I notice it on the meme pages, a lot of them rly don’t like the tiktok kids

I like the slower, more atmospheric metal, i’ve been meaning to find more of that, something that has a nice groove to follow and that submerges me (maybe its due to my background in hip-hop which prioritizes a good drum groove)

I was listening to Dopethrone this morning, even though it isn’t BM, I thought it was cool

Filsofem and Daudi Baldrs (even though it is a synth album) are my favs in regards to Burzum and are some of my fav albums ever, its a shame hes crazy, guy is a talented musician but as we know, many artists have been attracted to fascism since its beginning, largely due to its underlying contempt of the masses and its commitment to hierarchical traditionalism (in which we can see in BM)

why are black metal fans so annoying?

i dig some of the music but the various fanbases just seems like a bunch of resentful petty-boug chudjak edgelords obsessed with “authenticity”

even their memes emit a sense of contempt for everyone else and superiority complexes

that's not just black metal fans, thas just all metalheads. take a look at any metal meme community and you find their crazy ass fighting over what band is or isn't poser music.
altho black metal is prolly the most serious metal subgenre who the f*** knows

Metalheads have always been extremely openminded when it comes to music in my experience. You have your internet s***head nerds but for the most part it's a chill crowd of people.

I legit can't think of another genre besides jazz and electronic that can have fans from all different countries like metal.. Somebody in Peru can spin a band from Denmark who can dig a band from France who can jam a band from USA who f***s with a band from Ukraine
