Best movie I have seen since Mandy, some of those visuals had me hard af.
Worst thing about the movie was the f***ing kids in front of me who couldn’t sit still for one second, and that other kid that kept checking his smart watch every minute. Like wtf where they doing in that movie to begin with
this is gonna be a cult classic one day
like it's gonna be in the same conversation as The Shining and s***
Already highest rated horror movie of the decade
The visuals of the mermaid are still haunting me, it was so trippy bro I haven’t felt that sensation at a movie theater in forever

I have never seen a film like this one (something considered artsy) in a theatre ever

Yeah I think my closest experience might be Under The Skin? but even then it’s nowhere near
But yeh when that scene comes in I legit thought to myself okay wow where is this going and I f*** with that, it challenged me

UTS is artsy but definitely not on the same level.
I had a grin on my face for the entirety of the movie probably, when that jizm dropped from the roof I couldn’t believe my eyes.
Would have loved to see Mandy in a theatre, must have been mesmerising to see it on the big screen.
Also idk if it’s just the theatre I went to or what, but the lights in the movie looked bright af like they were HDR or something, which is a look that I can’t replicate at home.
this and bladerunner 2049 have been top 2 theatre experiences of my life so far
About to see this tonight but need to rewatch the witch first.
This director needs to nut up and make his nosferatu movie asap

This movie was ridiculously beautiful yeah, the use of the lightening and contrast of the black and white was hypnotic, lots of painting shots lvl, especially during the intro I thought??
Dude is on a roll, casting big names yet pushing into the arthouse and making you feel like you’re watching something real indie, I can’t wait for his next move, we need this rn

The part that blew me awy was in the intro yeah, when they were eating and the lantern on the table was casting flares everywhere.
Dude's definitely the most talented of the new wave of directors.
they not showing this nowhere b, f***

Travelled for 3 hours yesterday to go see it, had to switch trains too.
100% worth it though.

You’re amazing. I wish efforts like this kept movies in theatres rather than contracts and mass ticket sales.
