How was Dina horrible? I loved her
She bogged the story down entirely in my opinion. I did like her at the end because I do think she wasn't meant to be a fighter and wants a normal life but Ellie can't live like this.
take on me cover
how did she end up without muscles and her hair cut?
she been in the camp for a few month the fat guy that ellie kill told that b4 he died
The TLOU 1 was a classic but this new one honestly was good outside of the obvious HUGE f***up that was Joels death and a few other smaller issues. Killing off a main, beloved character in a story can be powerful and an effective plot device if done CORRECTLY. I know a lot of people dont like rockstar games or RDR2/1 but you have to admit Arthur and John were well written just like Joel with lots of depth and personality, you actually cared about them. All 3 characters die too, but the big difference is HOW. Compare Johns death protecting his family and sacrificing himself to Joels death. One of them was in line with the characters personality and while sad it was powerful.
no one would care if Joel died protecting Ellie or something, they just gave him the s***tiest death and then make you play as this trash ass character you have NO reason to like at all.
the parts where you play as abby are actually the highlights gameplay wise
story is still a mess. flashbacks galore and the weaponized pregnancy is killing me. Once again Abby leaves Ellie alive when she should've 1000000% killed her
Yeah I also hated why there was the break to the farm and then back to the revenge storyline
They just wanted a change in scenery and passage of time to make it longer?
That's prolly the quickest I've sped through a game just to avoid spoilers. Lol
Ending felt unsatisfying af especially compared to the first one but overall I'd give this like an 8/10
It's still f*** abby tho. All of her friends would still be alive if she just chilled. Both sides obviously f***ed beyond repair.
Why ellie have to lose all her family and friends over this s*** man
Honestly it would've been more interesting had they just went with ellie going full psychopath
No he didnt.
He literally said he would do it all over again. It was one of the very last things he said to her

Aw u right. I thought he meant he would do things differently when he meant "all over again"
Still don't think joel would've wanted all the s*** that came with that revenge
Why couldn't ellie still give her life to make a vaccine tho? You telling me it's no one else left in the world who could do what those surgeons were going to do?

I mean they said pretty clearly “the only doctor who could make a vaccine is dead so it doesn’t matter if we find another immune person”

I remember that I'm just saying I think the suspension of disbelief that their would be one person left like that in a world where tens of thousands are still alive is to big for me
I feel like the ending relied to heavily on the fact their clearly setting up a part 3. Tlou 1 felt more like it's own standalone thing that could've been satisfying if you just left it their.
They could've wrapped up abby and the kid's subplot a bit better imo

I don't see them making a part 3
I don't see them making a part 3
If the game sells well I don't see any reason they logically wouldnt. It's not like its a lack of story left to tell
Have the developers said their against it? I don't know

his death wasn't supposed to be satisfying it's the whole point

It feels Ellie's story is done at this point. She's given up on revenge and she's probably going back to Jackson. Maybe something with Abby and Lev getting to the Fireflies, idk. I also heard Naughty Dog may be working on a sci-fi game next
