Bro, Abby's gameplay is far better than Ellie and the interactions she has is the best the game had to offer. Dina was horrendous though.

The game was really impressive but my main problem was how they did a huge, outlandish beginning to set everything else up and as a player, I feel so lost on where I stand with this game.

THE SNIPER ARC

you can just feel that abby is superior to ellie in every other way the way she use her hand as a malee and choke people out how fast she run

It's honestly a shame they made you wait this long to play her, have her kill Joel so early and then dipping.

I really wonder if they had split the gaming between them, where they both are moving at different time.

Like right as Nora lets Abby into the lower area, we cut to Ellie going in the water and killing the asian girl who we just met, so we get a live feel of the path of revenge and makes it hurt more for us

i saw this tweet this morning and i think the problem this game is gonna have is that people aren’t fundamentally understanding what the game is trying to say. Revenge is a road leading to emptyness. there is no payoff in revenge. it takes you off a cliff with no way back. Ellie loses everything because she loses her humanity. she realizes what she has become by not killing abby and Lev at the end. whats brilliant is that she is the last to figure this out because you the player, are upset by what ellie is doing. revenge is such a bad path that even the player who has spent years loving you as a character, is repulsed by your actions and is having trouble finishing out your revenge. idk to me ive never seen a game or a medium of storytelling do that so effectively

Just beat the game, great game but story and character wise it is weaker then the first. The ending wasn't bad but I don't understand why would seeing Joel stop Ellie from killing Abby? Surely it should have the opposite effect lol

The gameplay is top tier, will probably end up doing NG+ on Survivor at some point. I think in time public perception of the game will start to improve, it will always be a divisive game but it doesn't deserve the review bombing it's currently getting

Also did anyone peep that one of the prisoners at the end said Abby was bit? Nothing seems to come of it tho

the parts where you play as abby are actually the highlights gameplay wise

story is still a mess. flashbacks galore and the weaponized pregnancy is killing me. Once again Abby leaves Ellie alive when she should've 1000000% killed her
