Yeah she’s terrible.

Are we finally ready to admit that Bella was miscast? She was okay as child Ellie but she doesn’t have the chops for adult Ellie. Also doesn’t have the charisma to anchor a show.

I was a Bella defender in S1 but I might be at that point. Writing certainly didn’t do her any favors tho

I think Mazin just didn’t give Bella good enough material to work with. When Bella shines, they REALLY shine imo. There are moments when I think Bella does some really impressive work in this, but the more joke-y or lighthearted moments don’t always work with Bella for whatever reasons

But yea Kaitlyn is going to do an incredible job in season 3, and I believe she could end up being the most praised actor in the entire show

We’ve only seen a few scenes of her as Abby, but she’s doing really great work so far

Also in a way it almost feels like Mazin doesn’t really care much for Ellie as a character…idk who else gets that vibe .
It’s like he wants Dina, Tommy, Jesse, and Joel to be these really grounded, smart, and layered characters .
But Ellie just doesn’t seem to get that same care in her writing .

And I believe Abby’s character writing will also end up being more dense and layered

The last update was from a couple years ago, and sales were at 10 million.
Since then we’ve gotten the PC port and TLOU2 PS5, and now 2 million sales because of the show

So I’d imagine sales for the game are well over 15 million tbh, could possibly be close to 20 million soon

Yeah I am. I liked S1 enough to wanna see it through, and despite not liking this season I do like the main set up of Ellie vs Abby.

Didn’t even know S3 will be Abby switching to the main character. I’m assuming that’s how they do it in the game

Yea at this point I’d say it’s not a big spoiler that season 3 will be Abby centric tbh. Even the showrunners are openly talking about it now

And yup you start playing as Abby halfway through the game .
Her sections have way more action so we’ll see if they actually commit to that in the show.
A lot of people prefer Abby’s section of the game so definitely stick with the show to see if it ends up being better

It confused me that they start the season with Ellie doing intense hand-to-hand combat training, but we see absolutely no scenes of her in any type of physical combat this season

I thought she was gonna be breaking necks and arms and s*** , lol

Yeah at this point I’d say I have more interest in Abby’s character tbh.

It’s a unique structure for sure, the first game is Ellie/Joe while the 2nd game Joe dies early and then halfway you switch POVs to the “villain”
