@SOLARIS earlier in the season had the most succinct take and true take I’ve seen and it continued to be true each week. That it kinda feels like a show that has the external, macro level look and feel of a must-see, medium-peak prestige show, but underneath it at the actual core, it isn’t doing anything to really earn that heftiness
I felt this with The Penguin.
Like… characters just conveniently stumbling into each other in all of Seattle at the perfect moment. Please, please no.
Her brief capture by the smiley niggas and then just back on mission ladidadida 5 seconds later. PLEASE
This season and severance season 2 have been kind of underwhelming
The rehearsal season 2
It feels like they made Ellie so incompetent in the show. Dina does most of the actual work, Tommy and Jesse bailed her out a ton. Ellie gets lucky a ton of times. I like how they handled Dina and Jesse but it almost came at the cost of Ellie.
They rushed a lot of Seattle, there’s was no time to breathe on a lot of it and the random C section part felt unnecessary. I will say Jesse’s impact and death felt much bigger in the show but outside of that it didn’t feel like they improved or expand on much outside that big scene in Jackson with the horde.
tbf the difference being is that she is acting in anger for the whole time in seattle. That anger can tend to make her lose logic/rationale, aswell as focus on thinking before acting
I guess because we control Ellie we also have thought of “I have two bullets left and need to escape a room of 6 soldiers” so we also know it’s not a good idea.
Rather on the show there’s no sense of not having the ammunition to compete.
Wish we got more fights with infected and people. I get why they had less in season 1 but the 2nd game is so much more violent. Didn’t really feel like it was in the show. Also agree I don’t like how they took Mel out in the show.
Just let Neil direct more of season 3.
We can’t have any tense scenes because they’re getting rushed by hordes at every point.
I was hoping the subway and stalker scene would be the chances to explore that. But they can’t do that with Bella because it’d look ridiculous.
They gotta stop that in season 3. I think Abby can carry though so here’s hoping.
off ur meds?
that’s all you can say because you’re a d***rider lmao. All season I’ve come in here hoping you’d be honest but you defend every decision.
Get the dih out ya mouf, they don’t know you exist lil bro 😂💔 keep scoring those internet points 😂😂😂😂😂

Apparently the rat king will be in the next season but the downfall is it will probably eat the budget for other infected to be shown…
Yes!!! Do u remember saying that? I may be ascribing more description than you did but you defo said something about it having the vaneer of prestige but not the actual foundation/meat of prestige
yea and I will say I enjoyed this season's questions it poses and it feels much more substantial than last season's more procedural zombie drama.
They really aint film season 2 and 3 simultaneously smh
yea nobody tryna wait another two years for season 3. we should be done with this show by 2027 on the real.
all the clips i've seen of this season are f***ing horrible
