no. no filler they said. 2nd season will adapt the second game
But a bloated version? They tryna make the time period in between games this season, then the real game season 3 right? Only makes sense
I don't understand how "we're stretching the game across 2 seasons" isn't adding filler. That's the definition of it
Funny too considering how most received the length/narrative of pt 2

unsure what you mean. TLOU2 is literally twice the size and length of TLOU1 and double the cast. theres 2 seasons of content there easily and thats without fleshing out characters and factions.

Putting the entirety of Part 2 in to one season would end up being the most rushed and fast paced season of a show ever

Yeah, felt like the 1st season had a lot of filler imo. Despite its short as f*** runtime overall
Just kinda worried about this one, a way bigger game that had way more negative hype, they're probably going to change quite a lot, I was quite a fan of it on release

They should stick to their guts and follow all major plotlines cause imo it is vastly superior to the first

Considering they went full throttle on the gay in S1 I cant see Neil allowing that

Idk about vastly but man, some of the best correlation between "the character/story" and "HOW you play the game" ever
Like I actually wanted revenge, s*** was crazy. Plus all the maneuvers you could do and stuff, idk, game was def underrated
I think Neil overwrought the whole "does violence solve anything?" thesis considering there's not choices in the game at all? But good game nonetheless if I thought it was a lil preachy

kinda crazy how you can say the most awarded game at the game awards ever is underrated just from the sheer hate it gets online
youd think its the worst game ever and unplayable

Really? I feel like it can fit in a 15 episode season since really the long playtime is due to gameplay that will be non-existent again in the show lol

Ellie spending time in Jackson, fleshing out characters in Jackson, introducing all of Abby and her crew and fleshing them all out, Ellie and Abby flashbacks, showing the WLF and Seraphites and establishing their conflict, showing Abby and Ellie’s perspectives and battles throughout their journey, Yara and Lev, Ellie on the farm with Dina, Ellie in Santa Barbara, Abby in Santa Barbara
Fitting that all in to one season would rob us of a lot of character development, and wouldn’t give the story enough time to really marinate

I imagine there'll be some eps to fill the gap between the two games too
