It's mostly because of how Ellie changes in the second game. Like I can't see Bella pulling off any of that s***. She was already an adult playing a 13 year old Ellie in the last season so she isn't going to look any different. This is just really unheard of unless they don't plan on doing a time-skip

She felt shoehorned in for the sake of Ellie's romance, and never genuinely felt part of the world as a whole

Tbh I still don’t see how it makes her one of the most annoying characters ever lol, her personality was chill af. And I thought her and Ellie had great chemistry, they get a lot of time to just talk and build on to their relationship

But I do believe the show will flesh her character out much more and make her feel more like her own character, rather than just Elli’s love interest

I feel like she was just a placeholder actor for the character tbh. Just a little wink at the audience to let them know that there is a girl in town that is eyeing Ellie. But considering we only get to see her for a few seconds, they cod still easily cast someone in season 2 who has the acting chops to actually play the character long term

I really love Dina honestly, and I personally think ND did a great job with her character

But I can see how people would want her to be fleshed out even more
