Just finished eps 8 & 9. Great season overall.

This is my issue with the finale. In the game making the lead surgeon from part 1 the source of the 2nd games antagonist works since you don't plan out an entire trilogy.

You come back and write out from where you left off from part 1.
They still leave it like that for the TV show pretending there is even a slim chance that a second season doesn't happen

Finale felt a bit rushed too for a TV show ending. Loved the giraffe and hospital action scene

She is clearly very upset throughout the second game about this fact though once she finds out what he did, as she was super uneasy and sad at the end of the first game

its been a while but wasn’t that a big part of why she stopped talking to him in the first game? It’s clear it’s not something she was ok with

I think a big part of her need for revenge is due to her own unresolved feelings about Joel’s decision beyond just their bond

But I fully get why they structured the game as they did, it’s supposed to be a shock. But imo the level design, the emotion, and the story in abbeys half were all better even though I itlnitially did not want to play as her, so it makes the first part of the game seem worse by comparison
