Haven’t seen this yet at all

But theres no way season 2 is even remotely similar to the game

There’s no way, ellie is john wick in the game they won’t pull that off in the show

They must be cooking up something very different to milk the Pedro Pascal fan service and overall I don’t see it being similar to TLOU2 at all

And don’t get me wrong I would love for it to be different and not following TLOU2 at all

Going to have to change the timing format of part 2 some how . If it goes the same order as the game it won’t work as well as playing it in that order . In short if they don’t make some changes to part 2 story it’s not gonna hit .

even if I didn’t know her motive there are many after game 1 ending who would want to kill Joel . Could be any remaining firefly . Cause no way in show is he going to be shown killing everyone on every single floor leaving no witnesses . In game 1 original ending he is running away from guards someone would connect it was Joel the guy they knocked out and failed escorting out. Like the vengefulness works with Abby but anyone who was a firefly or knew about cure and spread what he did could fill that spot and be just as justified

Is the only time we’ve seen Joel be violent with another human all season episode 1 that’s not directly defense with the guard ?

oh I know but as soon as a show viewer sees torture or killing of a human in a way that could be resolved otherwise. I feel they should be less shocked at death but who knows

That episode had the villain get killed off in a really predictable contrived way tho

Kathleen was terrible yes . Action itself somewhat messy yes . But Sam Henry Joel Ellie parts fire ( 15-30 minutes of episode) .

Forgot to post this, and ain't read through any of the consensus. So not sure what others thought.

But I thought the clicker encounter at the end of the episode showed I haven't been asking for much when it comes to the action scenes.

It was well done imo. Knew the outcome obviously but wasn't for a second not fully absorbed. It was well shot and choreographed. The clicker felt legitimately dangerous. There was tension, stakes, all that.

That's all I've been wanting for those of you going on about 'oh you just want a horde every episode' and all the rest of your nonsense.
