Idk man compare the two scenes one hits harder than the other
I am just saying its different . The show and game are different experiences. They both have strengths but comparing them bar for bar just isn't the move for me. As long as they land the same message and overall feel.
Beyond that I have been trying to guess why they feel that way. They have played the game more than I and more recently than I .
Felt way more light hearted here. Game Ellie ran away from Jackson and almost got herself killed cause she was so hurt by Joel's bullshit.

Is the reason they swapped that "realism" or what ? But also here its more justified with the fear anxiety ptsd thing he is having and oversleeping so essentially he is slipping
oh I just put that so people can see. I think for much its similar or the same. although I like the sarah flashback seeing it right after this is a little much . I think its partially the switch between Bella and Pedro faces during the dialogue is in a different sync than the game. I can see how someone can like either interpretation or both.
I get why they removed house ambush and her running away, but feel if they were going to remove much of university tension the house or Jackson being attacked would have been good and simple.
I meant the "make up" scene in the stables felt lighthearted. in the game Joel is a lot colder to Ellie during the fight so his eventual change of heart is a lot more meaningful.
Show went from "I do care about you" to "You're not my daughter!" to "Um I was gonna leave but I'll go with you if you want"
I'm not saying it's terrible, that whole segment just hit way harder for me in the game
Totally forgot bout these two. This nigga Frank had bill whipped
"go take a shower"
They really expanded on something the game never could in the best way possible
show keeps getting better and better
