Instead of addressing what I’m saying you go to insults, the mark of an idiot. I’m not the first to point this out about you either
well, you are an idiot.
you wouldn't even know there's certain dialogue if you literally did not just stand around in certain areas lmao
Doesn't that imply that he realizes he is the only one who can take care of her and doesn't want to put chance for anyone else?
Sort of like a child that is yours?
Same result as the show but more entertaining
you can't depict joel as an unstoppable force in the show tho lmao
you wouldn't even know there's certain dialogue if you literally did not just stand around in certain areas lmao
So… stand around then?
like you can say the choice to take ellie wasn't as good as in the game but the conversation where joel convinces tommy to take her is done way better in the show
in the game tommy takes her after he sees ellie talking to maria. joel breaking down is way better
So… stand around then?
word ill just put my f***ing controller down lmao. thats def playing the game. you sub 80 iq motherfuckers kill me

I’m replaying the game now and literally in the 2nd area found myself stopping to listen to the dialogue of the FEDRA soldiers and the people in the ration line, but I guess there’s a minimum level or intelligence needed to take the time out to immerse your self in the game world instead of fiending for your next cheap gameplay dopamine hit like a simpleton
Yea I much prefer seeing Joel get emotional while talking to Tommy, and him thinking of losing Sarah the night before he makes his decision to stay with Ellie
Was a great addition to Joel’s character

damn you mean you know more when you replay the game as opposed to the first time you play it lmfaooo

When you play a game you don’t do all the side quests first before completing it? Like a normal person?

completing side quests =/= standing around waiting for dialogue you dont even know exists
also, most people who play games do not sit around doing all the side quests lmao. they play the main story.

Agreed. Panic attacks were a cool touch
I don't think Pedro or Bella will win, although I wouldn't be surprised to see Bella nominated. But a prosthetics or writing emmy seems very plausible
writing not happening.
one of the creative emmys, maybe yeah. some of the infected are beautiful looking. but we only seen that once in 6 episodes so idk if that would even qualify.
maybe they should’ve spent the entire season on a farm
and then spend all of S2 in a prison
People are acting like we are forcing them to watch and post itt
Like bruh just watch something else
OR, we just want to come in here and talk. what's wrong with discussion?
There are f***in crybaby b****es here on both sides
Why cant you guys just discuss the show like normal people instead of attacking each other all the time. Its ok to disagree about stuff.
welp -- beat me to it.
Ellie hears about Tommy taking her: runs away on horse
Joel goes off to find her. Kills 20+ raiders
He finds her in home. Has THAT scene
Kills 10+ raiders trying to get in the house
They take horse ride back
“You know what Tommy, I’ll take her”
Yes I have played the game

Ellie's sad resignation to the fact another person is abandoning her is handled so much better imo. Running off and then clamming up. As is Joel's awareness of that. There's also the nice subtle surprise way in which Joel says 'im gonna hang onto this horse, Ellie give yours back'.
In the show it was very rushed through. Argument, two second dream sequence, then happy family all over again. Plus I didn't like that Joel says 'oh you can go with Tommy or me'. Giving that choice isn't the same impact as him making the decision wholeheartedly.
The preceding encounter with the raiders also entrenches the fact that this world is so dangerous and Joel finally accepts that he trusts himself above all to take care of her.

Normies
People don’t listen to what I say huh

regardless of all other criticisms, y'all need to get over the violence part lol. the reality is that s*** only works in game world where joel can tank bullets and Ellie cannot be killed or shot at.
Joel is an aging man with bad knees. If he gets pulled up on in the show by even 3-4 armed raiders in an open area, he's dead
play the game on grounded
thats what its like if joel gets pulled up on in show lol and then also adding the fact ellie still can't die on grounded
