I am not huge on number reviews especially in this case when episode lengths were so different but overall Episode 5 my favorite, liked the cold open of 2.
In short 5 was everything I wanted from show for most part besides Kathleen . Best use of time , cast and pacing - Feb 12, 2023minji

Openly saying they have made her more violent or antagonistic to Joel partially to lead into what is coming in season 2\. Their connection so far FOR ME hasn't been crazy strong enough to justify her feeling like that about the lie because again as I list she lied to Joel about the infected in basement, didn't tell him about Sam getting bitten, didn't tell him she took a gun. Like yes she was lying for greater good and yes her knowing about Sam changing was sweet. I am just thinking of rest of season and next does it make sense that she goes on a rampage? Especially after she has seen Sam and Henry do whats necessary for love including sell someone out. Bill and Frank Suicide for love. They just going to have to sell that she goes from where she is right now to basically Kathleen. Showing Kathleen just didn't hit because Kathleen is such a preview of Abby.
This is just my personal opinion it has no affect on anyone else . If you are loving the show I am glad you are

Yeah that’s the only trade off but idk this week episode drop thing kinda got me annoyed. I’d rather just watch it in a sitting or 2 but maybe that’s cause i’m more of a movie person.

I am not the only one saying Joel and Ellie connection is different lol Alannah Pearce works for Sony saying same, Greg Miller Playstation fanboy, most people are saying this. Yes obviously much of the game is Joel doing everything he can to not have a connection with Ellie but they are even more divided that opening section of game for first 3 episodes or it feels like it. I am going to replay 1 and play 2 fully for first time. Their connection in game 1 is better at this point to me but thats partially because you again are playing to protect her with a fail case if she dies.

I got nothing against y'all I keep saying the show is good. I am simply saying what is working or not working for ME. if its 10/10 for you thats great thats spectacular.
