The only thing missing was the minor betrayal that henry did with joel in the game before escaping
Just realized the reason ellie just casually thought she could make heal him and so quick to move on is because her night with riley
Why ain’t Ellie blood work on lil homie?
without spoiling it, the same way someone immune/non symptomatic to covid can’t just give their blood directly to someone

They were trying to save us so we have pure reactions to episode 5
"You know what they say, loose lips sink ships
Keep talking like a boy, you could make a news clip"
Woahhhh this is amazing. really good parallel. Amazingly depicted. Very very very cool stuff
Just watched ep5
@Kr0niic @NobodyWins yall won
Kathleen is so god damn ed man
Tommy from the video game was tryna put her head on right. Emotion is a blinding thing though
Not remembering a damn thing from the first game outside of the beginning and ending is really working to my favor right now.
I see why they wanted to make sure THIS one got its own spot light. Episode 3 is just an objectively great time and some wonderful story telling. What they were depicting and how well they depicted is a precursor to a much more impactful relationship, but the series of events from these two episodes, this feels like something that's going to be much more reoccurring.
The fact that they could execute this well means so much, to me

Eh, episode 3 is fantastic, it's just in a different way.
In a vacuum episode 3 is so impressive because it tells all it does in a singular episode. You literally couldn't have 5 without 4. there's little things that would make one more preferable than the other.

And that's because of how much she showed as a leader in other respects. When you're a follower of someone who's succeeded well at the majority of things (from your POV), its easy to look past the shortcomings.
In relevant contemporary news, this is the same s*** every chronically online person does with whoever their favorite celebrity is. Crypto bros do it with Elon, influencable preteens do it with musicians.
I think that fella knew what he knew, which was primarily ground level operation and logistics. But he also knew the reason he was even in the vaunted position he was, was because of Kathleen
side note: I'm not speaking on the morality of any of what they did. I'm just talking about the rationality of being fixated on this one goal as she was
