No one forced him to take her to the hospital for the cure he took her there because he possibly believe in it too did he not ? Because otherwise if he knew he truly cared about Ellie at the Giraffe scene and knew her death was even a possibility why would he put himself in that situation or ever not be by her side or getting all information about potential cure. I am partially asking did you playing the game the first time ever think " they are going to draw her blood and she going to be good to make this vaccine" . Again me playing the last of us 1 and thinking the ending was perfect to never have a sequel just hits different. Not because I didn't think it was a good story but because I think it said everything needed about love in game 1\. No part of me was like the doctors deserved to get gunned down or marlene did. I got that Joel was controlled by love. I guess game 2 connects less for me because I already got that what Joel did was wrong and no part of me thought it was justified but I understood why he did it so at a certain point it feels redundant. The gamers that needed the story of 2 the most are those that put the controller down because Joel died. They will never play it though.

oh thats why I genuinely asked. I simply said for rest of the season I wanted to see more Marlene because she is a central character and Kathleen felt like a waste of time. Marlene is leader of fireflies which recruits tommy. Marlene is the believer in the cure that brings Joel and Ellie together. Marlene was given Ellie from her mom. S\*\*\* Marlene relates to Riley too. I am simply saying in the 4 remaining episodes show Marlene in slightly more than just the final episode hospital decision thats it. I am not talking a large large part. Fireflies and Marlene just deserve more time to cook for the ending to fully land for me. I am not hating in anyway all for the shows changes so far. some feel slightly hamfisted but they work. Just show in season 1 that she cares about Ellie and that its a tough decision for her too. Marlene and Joel are the closest thing Ellie has to a dad and mom living .

I have always connected with faces just as a human being. Their faces and eyes are expressive. Its literally why mocap in games took off. I am saying its not simply their word delivery or cadence.

I think pedro and bella reacted more with their face and eyes this episode than all the episodes before too to be clear
