kat towns fanfor those that have played, i just got the game.
should i binge the game or finish it once this season is over? which would you prefer if you were in my shoes?
I think play the game and beat it . Show wise you can watch at least up to episode 5 and it won't majorly affect anything. Just think the game ending may land better than show so personally would beat it before I get to final part of show.

. at the game i've encountered my first clicker with ellie and tess. it's kinda hard feeling out what's 1/1 with the show (so far) but i do like this idea. i wanna get the most of enjoying the show and game as possible

Luckily where episode 4 ends im sure you will know exactly once you reach that point in the game.
its about half way through the game when you reach that point

That moment too but whole final section. Lol the okay part to me would hit different even with the knowledge that there is a sequel. When I beat The Last of Us 1 I really thought it would be a one off where it forced you to cope with never seeing them again and knowing how violent Joel could get. There was something profoundly disturbing or near kidnapping her to be his new daughter about that. I more mean having to go no russian on the doctors gonna hit different than however they cut Pedro doing it

I have said the same thing all series and been met with "they are at about the same level as this in the game ". Which is fair but in the game you are forced to protect her and she can lead to a game over state. She is just more aggressive. I am glad they bonded some and it advanced a lot. I just think of the hours on the remaining clock .
Some things have been hamfisted so far. A few things set up for future seasons. (Even the Kinda funny playstation fanboys think Kathleen regardless of the backstory she gets which likely links to revenge for her brother. Feels redundant or set up for future). I am saying if you are going to develop or create random side characters like Kathleen why not a main character that by the finale some will basically forget even existed
and people like Marlene gets shot in cold blood in the game and not developed (last of us 1 game spoiler) I know it was dumb as s*** there too 
we know Left Behind is its own thing so thats not time spent developing their relationship. It is time spent developing Ellie which is good because she will have to carry future seasons. Joel about to be injured so they will be forced to care for each other (last of us 1 and 2 spoilers)

Fav tv shows are normal but breaking bad, sopranos, nathan for you, mr robot, succession, better call saul, severence, true detective s1, westworld s1, game of thrones 1-6 (even some of 7)
games are MGS, all 3d marios, any indie metroidvania / platformer, any valve game, jak and daxter 1 specifically, kingdom hearts only 1 and 2, all god of wars, the trials series, gta, rdr, all souls / sekiro / elden ring games thats not named dark souls 2 (elden ring my second least fav), Halo MCC

I'm not talking about them solely bonding. I'm talking about their relationship dynamic as a whole. Videogame Joel was way more reserved and closed off, so those moments of bonding are more impactful to the audience. Yes, I see them bonding in the show now, but the bonding doesn't hit you like it did in the game for the reasons I stated.

Episode 4 is fine, about halfway through I realized I’ll never be able to look at the show on its own merit and that’s okay. It’s not bad and I don’t think anyone is wrong for liking it I think I just prefer the game.
