Me liking the cold open is hating? the beginning not focusing on action and contextualizing the world will help the entire world and everything Joel+ Ellie do have more weight. In a show they aren't going to pick up notes or read context clues in the environment so the cold opens deliver that information.in all honesty, video games could do it this way. They are just lazy.

show as a whole been phenomenal and so even the ight episode is phenomenal compared to other television.
it is ight in the context of the sample of 2 episodes we have, while being phenomenal TV compared to other shows airing rn. Hope that clears things up!

Oh I agree . I think tv show style will help a factions or last of us 3 tell a story that will connect more outside of main plot and characters that would make some more immersed in world while still keeping Ellie Joel as focus I guess
