some parts definitely felt rushed. Merle acting was fire. Feels like its missing something for me but its working so far

EverestPeople watching an entire show in a day and it leaving conversation within 2 weeks is the real mid
The episodes blend together and it becomes a blurry slog.
Weekly episodes + talking about them + thinking about them + the excitement during the week + knowing everyone’s watching it at the same pace as you = goat process

They love it and I am glad they love it so I in no way want to poop on the party so I rather sit it out til the end of the series. If I really want to watch it week by week I have the ability to but why discuss week by week with people who don't like you, talk down to you and do extra s***?

Something is definitely missing for me compared to reviews saying 10 or 9 but really I would give it an 8 so far. To call it something really special though something is missing. I am about the same as iglnd which was my fear for a while. That yes I played the game but to me in live action it comes across as standard apocalypse tale without a controller in hand.

I liked it overall and was invested pretty quick wbu
Letting it stack doesn't necessarily mean binge more means watch it when I am in the mood rather than the minute it drops and not really pop back into the thread until I feel like discussing something

Hope it gets better for you. I think you should at least watch weekly till ep3 that everyone is hyping the s*** out of and it becomes pretty different from the game.

You are chill. Again I hope y'all love it. To me personally just me 10 years later and the whole time even when I was playing in 2013 I got collectors edition day 1. Its more 28 days later, children of men, man on fire all of those for me. Unfortunately for me AND AGAIN THIS JUST ME. I feel those all hooked me better than this. To each their own and I wish this all the success

NunTheWiserI mean 1 episode in — and it being the episode where they have to give context to / set up the spread of the infection — of course it’s going to have that feeling.
Thing about TLOU in my opinion though is the further and further the story progresses the more and more irrelevant infected become to the narrative. Won’t take long for it to lose the typical “zombie vibe”
word. im looking forward to it. mostly curious as to how wild it gets.
