dude was hooked glad you see the lightHer gameplay was fun , more infected , less overly dark so easier to marathon yes . As I said the side characters could have cooked a lil more but an attempt was made

No spoilers the game would be a lot more interesting than it is even if I think the gameplay loop itself is still standard killing of most games. Example Red dead Redemption I am going in blind and much more to do and I still don't care about O Driscolls. When I first beat one I took the ending more as Joel lying to himself and Ellie so he can have a daughter. While at the same time since then I forgot how the fireflies knocked her out and didn't give her a choice. Also thought the vaccine was more 100%. Feel it could be more grey and interesting if Ellie knew that she would die going into the procedure. Who knows though. I know they work the fireflies back into the end of this story between Rattlers, WLF, Seraphites. With so many groups I do just miss simplicity of Fireflies and Fedra lol but I get it. Story is larger
Man, you’re really powering through the game 🥴 Do you feel like that impacts how you feel about the game? I say this because when I was playing through the Uncharted games I started getting a bit of fatigue and wanted to just get it over with knowing there were 4 games in total, lol.
I don’t think the vaccine was or wasn’t confirmed to be 100% but the fact that it provided actual tangible hope was better than an absolute zero chance.
I agree that Joel was selfish in choosing for Ellie and robbing her of having a say. But I think that’s what makes the ending so good in that maybe it’s a happy ending for the characters but not for humanity and so you’re left with mixed feelings.

I started in September it’s February nearly march . The beginning the open area although tranquil after the opening didn’t demand any sort of urgency. The wanting to get it over with is partially the combat gameplay loop by end is tedious to me ( again grounded new game plus could change that ) . Stealth fun , guns fun enough, upgrades outside of listen mode cool but some parts so over the top so many enemies to kill that it’s like “ aight wrap it up “ . Infected encounters more fun to me personally

I just look at all the characters as way more nuanced like there are no good and bad guys. People that act like Joel is their irl daddy are lame asf.
