I see what you mean but personally I think the flashbacks throughout the game were extremely hard hitting. Especially considering Joel was dead and gone, so seeing Joel in the flashbacks adds this melancholy and sad nostalgia to them. You know you'll never interact will Joel again, so all you have are these memories

And man that final flashback at the very end.....its hit so hard just knowing Ellie and Joel did have one last conversation and agreed they would try to reconcile their relationship . But that closure will never come

so ill just use cheats on 2nd playthrough to explore freely and find some artifacts for trophies and whatnot

I haven’t been a gamer since the 360 days. I miss the prime of Halo 3. I don’t really care for games unless they amazing first player experiences like spiderman and God Of War.

although I do found some boring puzzle type levels on God of War

still havent finished it cause im mostly a "one game at a time" and having last of us II had me put everything else on waiting list

game is amazing too, ironically, it feels like its some last of us inspiration, the whole parent figure plus child experience
