SouloI mean I’ll be honest I read some of the leaks and saw the video of Joel being beaten to death but I wasn’t like “what the f***?!!! 0/10 not even gonna play it” people are absolute children over this game
I dodged all the spoilers and loved the game.
Killing Joel is what made it dope. Glad they taking risks.

That's not guaranteed but I can see the PS5 version of the game having the MP mode included compared to the PS4 version of the game needing you to download it.

But the whole point of the game is for Ellie to go on a path of revenge. And that can't happen unless Joel's demise happens early in the game
What Naughty Dog did was extremely bold, but that is what great creators do. They challenge the audience and don't follow expectations

he's a merciless killer that 20 years before he met ellie he was apart of the fireflies killing innocent people
and to Abby eyes him killing her dad is inexcusable

I would’ve liked to experience more of the dynamic instead of through flashbacks. Considering how long the game was, some fat could’ve been trimmed for it imo

Honestly this was definitely on purpose to make the player enjoy Abby more. Abby’s storyline was better, levels better, only real bossfight, better weapons for the most part, etc.
