not having multiplayer is a bit of a farce

I think the biggest indictment on this game is the devs / actors feeling the need to guide or criticise discussion at seemingly every turn.

You've made the game; let it stand on its own and allow people to make their owns calls on it.

I think they only have problems with people making personal attacks at them or the people who worked on the game or to say they did not understand what they were doing

Druckmann has said a ton of times that he is okay with people having their opinions on liking or disliking the narrative choices they made and he has encouraged that kind of debate. He just wants to make it clear that they 100% knew what they were doing with this game and that you shouldn't be making threats or ad hominem attacks on people who worked on this game.

Is this game worth getting for $60? Is there an online component with this like with the OG?

Me personally I do feel it’s worth $60. I loved the story aside from some pacing issues. No multiplayer for now but Naughty Dog confirmed a few months ago that they are working on Factions multiplayer and will probably be released later as a stand-alone.

Standalone?! Smh. I can't justify paying $60 for just a story mode but I'll look out for a discount on Black Friday or whenever. Thanks fam
