one thing i haven't seen enough people talk about is the gameplay in this game
the encounters in this were incredible and everything felt so so so godamn good. especially after replaying tlou1 right after

Ok Ill give them this. The way they rolled out who the trans character was and how he came to that identity, that's probably the best storytelling I've seen in this game so far
and even with having disliked abby lesnar, they made her somewhat redeemable. think I got like 3 hours left in the story from here

I think alot of people enjoy the improved gameplay but they definitely should've shortened how many fights you do. I guess you gotta have more fights to have more story, but idk if you even needed more story. gameplay definitely looks better to me though
Lmao both subreddits are so extreme. There's no level headed people
One is head over heels for the game and thinks anyone who doesn't enjoy it is a demon
The other hates the game (without even playing) and thinks anyone who does enjoy it is cancerous and why gaming is sjw now
I just checked the TLOU2 one for the first time (it was about the colleen chick) and they had like a 11 page singular comment thread about how impossible it'd be for a chick to be this ripped
I'm talking how it was handled. Lol I'm not gonna go on a rant about it because what they were going for ultimately worked. I'm just thinking if the switch had occurred earlier or simultaneously it wouldn't have taken so long to...accept? Idk the word I want to use exactly
I know they didnt want to be tropish but I think just having you play as both and meeting at the same point on the same day after traveling through both's journeys...I feel like that would've been cleaner. Not as high a ceiling, but definitely a higher floor and a higher chance of sticking the landing
but I can really appreciate them trying the way they did

i definitely get that. the amount of encounters got to be slightly a drag towards the end. but hey id take that over the 200 dumpsters you have to move to climb and the 100 ladders/planks you have to find in tlou1.
also i feel like it remained feeling fresh for my playthrough as i avoided as much fighting as possible since i played on hard. it was essentially just a stealth game
Is there a way to go back to places where you missed stuff?

any tips for dealing with dogs? is it possible to stay stealthy
Yeah. What I would do is kill the person with the dog first with either an arrow or silenced gun. Then while the dog is still figuring what happened, ill quickly either sneak up on it and knife it or also shoot it with an arrow.

I let them follow my trail, and put one of those bombs in the way and just wait until it explodes into pieces
Probably gonna do a 2nd playthrough soon. This very well may be my favorite game of all time
replaying encounters been hitting ngl
Wish there was like an Arkham series style challenge mode
