Barry ignores Coochiemane's slight.

"I agree with Fou, let's go to the dealership and get patched up."

The squad over to what seems like a car dealership.

They wander about 350 meters over a huge scrapeyard with mountains of damaged, fallen apart and rusty cars. The sandy ground beneath their feet smells of the stench of gas and battery acid which probably has seeped into it over the last years.

Biz comments "...those whips don't look all too fresh..."

They reach a storehouse on the opposite site of the area, there's a sign showing that this is actually a towing Business "Dente Bros. Towing". Only now you find out that this is actually a place where lost and used cars find their resting place.

Kuniva responds to Biz comment "I think there's your answer why they don't..."

Eye-Kyu sneaks around the storehouse and comes back to the group "It looks empty! Haven't seen anyone inside! Looks like there's some offices on the second floor and a garage workshop downstairs where they used to work on cars."

"Lot of trash... let's go inside I'd say..."

“Let’s make sure it’s safe. Seems like we can’t go anywhere now without half a dozen things attacking us.”

Barry cautiously enters the storehouse and looks around (Perception d20: 1).

As Barry opens the door to enter the building, they see the chance of a lifetime. Being trapped in this garage has made them depressed, they rush down from the beams near the roof as fast as they can once they hear the creaking noise of the door... too fast... they didn't expect a human towering in between them and the fresh air. Nevertheless, the swarm of flies rushes past Barry, some of the meeting their end after crashing into him, especially the one that hits Barrys eyes.

Barry doesn't perceive anything special in the room.
The first floor consists of one big connected workshop room: There's a corner with tools, it also has a hydraulig ramp inside to lift cars, furthermore there's some foldable chairs and tables, everything has dust over it. A steelstair leads to some cabins which have been mounted onto large poles to form a second floor, the offices reside in there. Except of the tiny insects that just rushed by it seems quiet, no one to be seen in here.

"Nothing here but flies it seems."

Barry wipes his eyes then inspects the offices (Perception d20: 18).

Barry walks up the stairs and enters the office container. The room is sparely furnished. Two spaces to do paperwork: Simple metal desks each with an office chair, one on the side with the entrance door and the other one on the opposing side which additionally has an old CRT monitor ontop and a rather antique looking dell desktop beneath it, both are connected through a vga cable. Spanning over the whole length of the sidewall is a large shelf containing a large amount of folders and files that document the companies finances, assignments and customer relations. There's also a leather couch that could fit maybe 3 people sitting. Through a wall sized glass window one can look down up on the garages maintenance facility. A Fire Extinguisher, a Firefighter Axe and a First aid kit are hanging next to the entrance.

Barry presses the power button on the computer and also checks the first aid kit.

The computer doesnt turn on, seems like the electricity is missing. Inside the First Aid Kit there are some plasters, bandages, a Swiss Army Knife (various tools), disinfectant (small bottle 150ml), a battery run defibrillator, a thermal blanket and some creams against burns and insect bites.

Harry keeps the first aid kit, then looks through the files on the shelves for anything interesting (Investigation d20: 1).

Barry returns downstairs. "There's a couch upstairs if anyone wants to rest up."

Barry goes through the files but doesn't find anything of interest, just a lot of information on the company.

The rest of the team enters the facility.

Kuniva answers Barry "I'm fine, but I don't know about Odeon."
Biz opens up his bag "Yeah let him rest... I just need a bit of water..." he takes out a bottle and starts drinking that pure water, a relaxing feeling overcomes his as the liquid slides down his throat "...ahhhh... what a chase..."
Tariq and Eye-Kyu start looking around the room immediatly, Coochiemane is chilling next to the entrance, spying out of the window.

Porter taps Odeon on the shoulder and tells him "Thanks for letting me take the jacket...you got me worried for a second after I didn't see you resurface... I don't think I would've been able to hold out half as long against that thing as you did... but.. please throw your life away for mine... if s*** hits the fan I'd rather have you alive protecting my brothers..." before sitting down on a box. He opens up a foldable map of the city partways holding it in front of him and after clearing his throat begins to think aloud "We have two options to cross the river. Either we take a detour and turn back around to walk up on the hill behind us so we can access the highway bridge (Bridge A), because it's too high to climb around here... or we take the one right in front of us, easy..."

Kuniva scratches his head "Then why mention the detour?" he also opens his bag "... man I'm hungry... you guys didn't have any breakfast either right? Anyone got something fancy to share?"

Porter continues with the plan "If we take the detour, we could walk on the highway bridge (Bridge A), the advantage is that that thing spans over the whole of South Kearny and descend again in New Jersey after 2 miles, meaning it crosses the second river so we wouldn't have to worry about that anymore. On the other hand if we take the bridge nearby (Bridge B) we'll be faster, but we'd need to get past some blocks again, maybe about a mile straight through the city."

Are you guys gonna take a Short Rest?

"I'd say we take our time, it's already been hard enough so far and we may aswell reduce our risks. Anyway I dont mind staying guard for a bit then resting later, I got out of that last encounter pretty well compared to others"

Sure, but 4 hours will pass.

Barry pulls out 5x cans of dried corn and 5x cans of dried beans. “I’ve got some food. It would taste even better if we could heat them up.”

Barry makes 4x healing draughts (Heals 1d8) and gives 2 to Odeon, 1 to Elori, and 1 to Coochiemane.

Barry takes a short rest after eating.

Coochiemane looks at the flask Barry hands him, slowly juggling it on the palm of his hand, inspecting it with a wary look on his face... he mutters "What is this..." but after seeing Odeon gulp down to of them, thus healing his wounds instantly, he decides to try the brew himself.

His eyes widen as the bruises on his body disappear. Every cracked bone mends, his battered muscles relax and he whispers a faint "Thanks..." knowing fully well no one in reach will hear it at that volume.

Tariq still on full health without a scratch. D12 enjoy the tune as usual, thanks to the support of their untouched friends so far they're in a pretty good shape.

Kuniva pulls out a knife and is about to open one of the cans that *Barry offered pointing at the lid with the tip of the weapon "Thanks. You wanted to cook them? But how?"

Biz who's been looking around "Haven't seen anything like a pan, but there's some welding equipment in the toolshelf, we could use that, if there's still gas in there we could work with that."

Kuniva thinking that that's a bit of a hassle "Or... we just eat them s***s raw."

Eye-Kyu puts his bag down on the ground "I don't mind either... just decide and tell me when it's ready" and proceeds to lie down and lay his head onto it.
