Just a split second after being woken up by the hammering noises on the ships hull Elori perceives that the intense huge wretched energy he's been sensing since coming near this area must be in his immediate surroundings. It's a suffocating feeling.

@barrymc It's your turn before the others are included, so if you want to you can state your actions for the first turn already.

Elori starts out of his bed quickly and grabs his staff, (who else is on the deck w me?) @Ethic

@Ignance_ As you can see everyone except Barry who's on the topdeck.

I have 47 total HP, it should be 43/47 now.

Barry yells in to the earpiece: "There's a giant sea monster attacking the ship (even though we're in a f***ing river)!"

Barry's fingers transform in to acidic claws (Primal Savagery) and he swipes at the nearest tentacle (Hit d20: 7 / Damage 2d10: 15).

Barry runs for the stairs down to the survivors deck.

Initiative d20: 10

Barry strikes the tentacle next to him with his acidic claws, it begins to wiggle around with a small green glowing scratch on the spot where he hit it, but it doesn't look like this attack did any significant damage.

He runs towards the stairs and manages to get into the interior of the ship, all the while it's shaking heavily. It probably wont be easy to get up again.

Turn 2 Octopus

The ship lists 30 degrees to Port as the Octopus writhing tentacles start to drag the ship down with it's weight slowly.

Everyone needs to make a Dexterity Saving Throw (d20) to see if he falls prone and slides towards the portside before your turn starts

It's now Odeons and/or Fougeres Turn

*The ships hull is still being hammered by the tentacles, Elori and Odeon see the walls inside their room slowly deforming from the pounding. The same happens in the rooms Fougere, Coochiemane and Tariq are in, more dents appear in the hull, looks like it's trying to break through.

D12 is in an uproar.

Kuniva looking out of the small windows "DAMN son! Have you seen this?!"

Eye-Kyu all alone in his room "I don't want to see any more of this, I've seen enough horror flicks to see where this is going, packing my stuff... I'm coming over to your side."

Biz just keeps on screaming for a while before he gets his bag and shouts "GO!! GO!! EVERYONE OUT!!!"

Porter commands "EVERYONE UP, GATHER AT BARRYS POSITION! I don't think there's another way out of this ship. What the hell is that thing?!"

Coochiemane shakes his head still being sleepy "What the f*** is going on?! What's that noise y'all are making?! Can't you let a man sleep." he rubs his eyes while the objects in the quarters he's in slowly begin to fall down from the shelves and are rolling around on the floor, then he looks down at his body, still lying in bed like nothing special is happening "And who the f*** healed me?!"

Tariq who's next to him, already trying to get ready shakes his head "Man... get ready, emergency situation... grab your stuff we need to go!"

Coochiemane lifts his eyebrow "But... I wanted to see if there was a shower in here... I really could need one"

Biz on the radio shouts at Coochie "Boy get a move on! That thing is about to go ham with the ship!"

Coochiemane slowly get's up "What thing? Woahhh... why is this thing so shaky" he begins to stretch his arms.

Biz in panic "The octopus!! The freaking octopus on our doorstep!"

Coochiemane finally get's up and looks out of the tiny window in his compartment "Octopus?... oh s***!"

For a moment you hear everyone shouting all across the transmitters, it's totally hectic, all of D12 is packing their stuff.

Porter interferes "Everyone! Calm down! We need a plan, else that thing is going to drag us down to the depths... look we either try to find some lifebelts and jump of this s*** or we try to reach the ladder once again and crawl up to the bridge, in the worst case we just swim back to the river bank. Or... do our untouched think they can take that thing?"

Tariq sweating "I'm sure as hell not confident enough to take down that sea monster..."

Coochiemane thinks for a moment "Well... I've got stronger I believe... but I'd need to take a closer look... it really looks freaking huge..."

Biz shouts "Porter! What kinda idea are you trying to give them, I know for fact that at least we normal people need to get the f*** out of here!"

Porter agrees "Yes yes! Then let's get going!"

"There are tentacles all over the deck, it won't be easy getting to the ladder. I say we find some life jackets and let the current carry us away, this thing won't be able to reach us once we're back on land."

"Damn where the f*** did this come from" I head over as far as I can to Barry's position after hearing Porter

Make a Dexterity Saving Throw(d20) first to see if you fall prone before stating your turn, as mentioned above

Fougere stumbles and crashes into the dresser next to him.

Kuniva who's in the same room sees this "Damn.. this b**** shaky.. you ait??"

I assume Fougere uses an action to get up and runs towards Barrys position as fast as he can. (Since you needed to use your action to get up, you can't use Dash, this means you only get 30ft far)

If I didn’t fall make me help Elori get up so he got advantage on the dex roll

“We need to go right now man, this ain’t good!”

On the radio: “What good is taking on that thing if we can avoid it? Me and Barry can prolly make holes in the side, but is swimming really a good idea?......”

Odeon manages to balance without much problems and tries to stabilizie Eloris posture.

Elori gets advantage on the next Dexterity Saving Throw (d20) at the start of his turn

(I assume you use your Bonus Action (Cunning Action Feat) to use dash to cover another 30ft?)

Odeon runs past Fougere who's going in the opposite direction trying to meet up with Barry.
Odeon get's into the Survivors room that Porter and Biz are in, Porter asks him "So... what's your plan? We just open some holes in the hull and jump out? We're about 30 feet above ground... not like it's impossible but it for sure wouldn't be a soft landing and we'd still need to reach the riverbank.", Biz sighs "Not like anyone in here can fly or float or just move us over there alltogether right? I'd hate landing flat on my belly..."

It's now Barrys Turn
Barry who's on his back needs to take an Action to get up.

(I'd have hoped you'd uncover a certain part of the story or reach a certain point before June 2020, but it will probably be a close call depending where you're going/what you'll do, since we slowed down since the original forum went down)

"Once we're in the water, Elori could use his wind to push us to the shore. This ship is huge, there have to be life jackets around her somewhere."

Barry gets up and moves towards the rest of the party.

"Yeah I'm fine thanks, nothing I cant shake off. Gonna head to Barry"
