What don’t y’all get? Accounting IS done on excel. But you don’t send an excel out to the client. It’s converted into a ppt or a pdf or whatever so that it’s uneditable and is usually password protected. Alternatively you’d use some kind of licensed software.

Rory was just trying to point out shady unprofessionalism. Lets not forget they put numbers in the body of an email the first time. Let’s move on.

and it's not a narrative. I think the stooges made some good points. I think Joe also made some good points. they said "the accounting" isn't sent in the body of an email with just 5 line items. that's true. but then they (especially Mal) said accounting isn't an excel spreadsheet. and that's where they are wrong. and that's also where a bunch of burger-flipping, uber-driving, door-dashing, the marathon continues ass niggas decided to say "yeah, accounting isn't done in excel" as if they knew the first thing about excel or accounting

I find Andrew pretty funny, but in this particular episode he was doing too much, going overboard, comparing Joe to Trump and comparing JBP fans to the people who stormed the capitol. it's just personal for him bc Joe spoke on their pod and on their business and said Rory is a better white co-host than Schulz. And Rory sad he might be wittier than Schulz. the personal was getting in the way

Rory and Mal kept saying accounting isn't an excel spreadsheet or some s*** like that. then a bunch of people on twitter who have only driven Uber or worked jobs where they weren't allowed to sit down started running with this narrative that excel isn't accounting. when you export something from Quickbooks, it's exported as a csv or xls or xlsx file. those are all excel files. yes, typically the numbers are copied into a pdf but that pdf comes from excel first. and if their issue is that excel numbers can just be punched in and edited, then that same issue holds for a pdf because the numbers in a pdf are just copied over from excel
