    Never again.

I don't even think Charlamagne would even sign them. He told them straight to their faces that they were expendable lmao

This is the last time I’m going to say this, one persons recollection of events are usually never the full story. That’s all I’m saying. Joe could be telling 100% or 60% of the truth but we don’t know until we hear all sides.

If that's the case then why should you listen to anybody

You might as well just stop listening

Dusse dropped palooza after rorys friends went sicko
    Rory is an emotional orange
JBP is all he got and if he just wanted to kick it he shoulda did just that

Didn’t know they officially got dropped, they just said it stopped cause of COVID.

They’ll all be fine without JBP.

Mal and Rory had it so good man, didn't have to invest any of their money when the podcast was making 0 dollars for the first couple of years, do the bare minimum and just talk and got paid 100's of thousands, if not near millions

I respect their choice tho, it's a shame they all couldn't be upfront with everyone's role on the podcast from the get go.

Joe was right when he said very few other organisations would just let their workers leave for 6 weeks and allow them come right back.
Rory & Mal got some nerve for trying it again tbh lol

  • La Flame

Maybe they just assumed a friend wouldnt do that to them and thought everything was good for a long time.

I cant blame them for being naive, even if you could, but I dont think someone that you are that close with... to f*** you over like that/this.

but he's not f***ing them over. they are getting paid well to sit and talk. they could have built their own thing like Andrew Schulz launching off Charlamagne. they could have had day jobs (assuming they don't). no one owes you equity. and Joe said he made it clear from the jump that he owned the show

  • May 12, 2021

if mal really hid detergent....fuck is wrong with him?

I know this is a “we’re all gonna die anyways” tier point, but this entrepreneurial s*** is getting infectious. Like what is happening, niggas are commodifying conversation and then commodifying beef over the commodification of conversation

Yeah im ngl that was kinda crazy, I’m pretty sure Rory called that one of the best moments of his life

  • Larry Ishvalan Fox

Seems like they were operating on the basis that since their friends joe would be fair to them, but they clearly don’t believe joe was and saw the success of the pod and got in too late to ask for equity. Some people here are basically arguing that this pod would’ve been successful without them, while others disagree

based on the 6 weeks with Ish and Ice, seems like the pod would have been fine with just about anyone. if they had a hustler / self-starter like Andrew Schulz or AK instead of Rory and Mal, the pod might even be bigger

but if Joe made it clear he wasn't giving up ownership, then they knew what they signed up for

I think Joe will get more successful unfortunately. He’ll scorch the Earth around him, but still maybe get to his ideal position or situation. It’ll only reinforce his narcissistic ego that he made it doing things his way.

This is exactly what he wants

It's sad because Mal would've been straight if rory didn't gas him up.. knowing that it was appropriate for him to take a break from the pod. Everything would be fine now

  • May 12, 2021

Rory and Joe legitimately HAVE to fight now. I’m not standing for this if I was there when your son was born. Saying I dont have to be there hell nah

  • May 12, 2021

I need BI to come out the gate swinging next ep. None of the subliminal s*** they've been doing for the past 2 weeks either
