Another thing is Joe offered Rory and Mal some bitcoin (when it was going up) and they thought Joe was offering 5 dollars
lmaooo those fking bums dont understand money or business
Because he did. He offered them satoshis, which was equivalent to $5
When Mal n em told him, he later went n got some Bitcoin, only a small fraction though iirc.
Joe argues semantics since they didn’t start at the immediate inception of the pod maybe like 20 episodes in for Rory so he doesn’t deserve equity to joe.
I think he was on the like 6-7 episode the first time.
damn having Mal in control of the merch was a good idea. he was just lazy. joe gave rory opportunities as well on the side. rory didn't act. lmaooo
a lot of this is not on joe man. He gave them plenty of opportunities to take equity. these are grown men. work for your f***ing paper

This what he gave Mal?
Lol that nigga really is just a wannabe industry exec parading around like he’s for “the people”.
He gives off the same vibes of those people who are against free college/loan forgiveness. “I got f***ed with loans and had to pay, so should everyone else!”
y'all give up the same vibes as people who think Amazon workers should make $25 / hour. You get paid what you're worth or what you can negotiate. These niggas aren't worth s***
That’s a horrible comparison. The way some of y’all undervalue Rory & Mal is hilarious. If Joe was that big a draw alone, His 1on1 Pull Up interviews would be bigger than the pod.
They were great workers but lets be real the name of the show is The Joe Budden Podcast
Joe airing out Rory for getting his ass beat
talking about his hands work but got the mitts put on him
More views because the person he is interviewing has a lot of fans wanting to watch it.
But yeah, he is a horrible interviewer. And he often seem to put the attention on himself, more than person he is interviewing.
For sure but the podcast views went back to normal after 1-2 weeks with Ice and Ish.
Mal and Rory helped built this pod no doubt but saying the podcast will cease to be popular because Mal and Rory is gone is a bit delusional IMO
Completely agreed on the interview part in your post though
Would be hilarious if mal only response to this entire situation was "bro u was emptying up all my detergent"
This was just as corny lol, but close enough
Bad comparison, literally one of the three faces of that podcast.
they left for 6 weeks and the pod was fine. they're bums. they are overpaid
Some of yall be acting like Rory and Mal is Akademiks. They literally got their notoriety from Joe.
y'all give up the same vibes as people who think Amazon workers should make $25 / hour. You get paid what you're worth or what you can negotiate. These niggas aren't worth s***
Minimum wage should really be $25 an hour though
I CAME TO POD TODAY
He did give them the accounting. He and Ian said it took 4 weeks and he gave it to rory in full during the 6 week break to which rory couldn't say anything and if at all he realized he was being overpayed. But you missed that part cause you hate Joe. BTW he can't stop anyone from auditing that is a court process.
But Rory was asking to looked behind the business more though since he didn’t believe them, if everything is on the up and up than why did joe deny that and fire them? I don’t hate joe, unlike you I don’t believe every word he says is gospel and take it as 100% truth and also I don’t see Rory and to a lesser degree, mal, as some dudes who just rode joe coattails to success with the pod.

this a bad take b
Minimum wage should really be $25 an hour though
why $25? Why not $30? Why not $50? Why should there be a federal minimum wage at all? Why should the minimum wage be the same in NYC and SF as it is in rural Virginia? Why should the minimum wage be the same in a city where a 1 bedroom apartment costs $3k / month as it is where a 1 bedroom apartment costs $600 / month?
Rory and Mal have the same logic as you LLC Twitter wannabe clubhouse entrepreneurs who want student loans forgiven bc you went to a s*** school and got a s*** degree and can't get a job cuz u have no skills
y'all give up the same vibes as people who think Amazon workers should make $25 / hour. You get paid what you're worth or what you can negotiate. These niggas aren't worth s***
yikes

If you develop something with and because of your friends, you still "should" look at it like that? Morally.
When does it becomes so easy to dispose them or not making it a good and wholesome business. They all coming up, instead of one person. But Joe thinks he is Diddy. And Rory is essentially Mase.
They just started disliking each other and then that friend s*** went out the window. Then it became boss vs employees.
So Joe fired them for wanting to know more about the business? Yea im done with the pod now. Joe is wayyy too much of a hypocrite for me to take him seriously anymore
Now that I think about it Joe never really liked Rory huh
Nah they all just in their feelings and have been for about a month.
But Rory was asking to looked behind the business more though since he didn’t believe them, if everything is on the up and up than why did joe deny that and fire them? Like I said if rory wants to audit further he can take it to court joe can't stop that. Yall can make a million excuses it doesn't explain why rory didn't take the content and make his own YouTube the answers to your questions are in the latest pod tho, I encourage to really listen and don't skim it
