insertcoolnamehere(like I said before), Mal and Hov are closer than Mal and Joe are. So close to the point that Jay told Mal that it was never a diss towards Joe at all in the car. Joe's on record of internalizing literally anything that could remotely be about him cause he's a narcissist.
The beat (cause that was all this "beef" was over. I don't know why he adding this extra sauce like the last decade you wasn't ranting in youtube videos and the pod over his "shots" on that remix) was originally made for Jay. Just has said it, the internet has said it. Jay of course feels a way cause the song sounded off (and in retrospect, Joe did that beat better than Hov would've done lol).
Yeah, if I remixed your song and didn't mean any animosity towards you but more so towards the producer, yeah, I'm "so whating" your s*** lmfao.
I could see how a young hungry rapper in Joe could internalize all of that as Jay sending shots at Joe.. but Joe should’ve moved on a long time ago. He was the only one reminding niggas about that remix too lol
so yeah maybe Joe did feel a way they all laughed at em but I think this friend group has been heading towards this roadblock for a min from shut beyond the Hov reconciling situation

Apr 29, 2021I don't believe they are equal partners at all and I don't think they ever said that either. Joe defo has majority equity and in the end he calls the shots. He's the one attending the meetings, financial talks etc. It's just friends and business is sticky...there always will be some complications with it. With that said the second half of this pod was good. Rory seems to be back to wanting to Pod and Mal is Mal so you don't know with his energy lol

Joe was wrong for telling Mal the pod wasn't any of his business, that's an overreaction.

He's the one shopping the pod and discussing the deals with big companies, he's the one who cuts the checks and now we find out that he can just tell any of them to sit home and replace them whenever he wants. That's a boss lol
The problem lies in that Joe is the FACE but not necessarily the boss. But because he’s the face of the operation and the operation is named after him who’s gonna tell that man he’s not the boss?

Even if that was true, Mal and Rory helped build the pod to the place where it is today. They deserve more than being recasted when s*** gets sticky

I dont think the others have been included in many negotiations with companies or brands. This has always been Joe thing and something he has pursued.
Thats why the others have been screwed over in a sense, because they might deserve more than what have agreed to. That might be on them and what they signed up to be a part of once the pod became a thing, but they definitely should have spoken up for themselves more when the pod became a business and not let Joe be almost in total control. I guess Joe probably told them "this is what we gonna do and Im in charge, I will get all us money dont worry. Trust me. I have the most experience".
In hindsight, they should have asked for way more control and equity for their contribution.
Not saying it should be totally equal shares between everybody... but they probably gave up way to much. Either because they simply trusted/let their friend be the captain or themselves wasnt interested enough to argue with it and just rolled with it. Their fault for being naive.
Joe is quilty of being a terrible boss and a bad friend at the end of day. Unfortunately dude is crazy and he wont change. His way or no way.
Either they stay, get over what has happened, keep their job/income or they leave and pursue other things.

I think they only came back for the fans otherwise they would've probably dipped out on the pod completely.
If I was Mal, I would get something poppin' on the side incase the pod goes south cuz the way Joe responded to their issues was outta pocket.
