eclassYou can also tell Rory and Mal leave it up to Joe & Ian to negotiate. I know damn well Rory would of made sure basic benefits (health, vacation etc.) would have been in that contract from his conventional office job he used to work.

Right - like bonus structure, vacation , insurance are all fundamental things that should be in negotiated before anything is signed. Seems like Joe had tunnel vision and didn't realize how much the pod would grow (in terms of employees) and now he's complaining after the fact.
Like announcing the pod is #1 on spotify and the used olexes seem to be collateral damage.
If they didn't break up in the middle of their spotify deal then i dont think they're gonna break up especially since they would all be unemployed at that point lol

I don't think we have the full info but never the less their contract is different from a regular employee at a corporation. Their contract was for 2 episodes weekly that Spotify somehow is making money off. Not sure how they could negotiate vacation. Maybe days off or pods they don't do on certain holiday's. Something you learn on the job for them
