was nothing mind blowing like they been trying to hype up but as a Flash fan I had a pretty great time with my friends

Been waiting on a Flash movie since I was a little kid and I feel like they did that pretty well, I liked all the time travel stuff.
but it's not gonna change anybody's mind if they go into this movie ready to hate on it. feel like it's standard capeshit most of the time.

like you're talking bout Suicide Squad, that was like the 3rd movie in the whole DCEU, that was back when people were trying to give it a chance, but those movies made people give up on that

Much as I hate suicide squad the casual movie going public that eats up all the latest mcu s*** for the most parts loves it, it's the movie buffs like me that see it for what it is and casuals look at me crazy when I clown on it lol

Considering bvs infamous underwhelming box office performance, it was even affected back then. I remember when people said it’d be a close race to which hit a billion first between BVS and civil war. The only reason Suicide Squad did so well was the impressive marketing campaign (bohemian rhapsody trailer , soundtrack had songs from imagine dragons and twenty one pilots while they were on top of the world, new joker etc).

And can’t underestimate Will Smiths box office draw back then was still rather strong. Even his and Margot’s movie Focus was a hit at the box office

Will definitely lead to a big increase on the box office, Independence Day 2 flopped that same summer cause it didn’t have him in it lol

The DCEU really hasn’t had an opening over 100M since Wonder Woman tbf

The Batman did $770M worldwide. They’re hoping it has similar legs Aquaman had (opening weekend was $67M.

Aquaman dropped in December and had the whole holiday szn, this is in a crowded summer but we'll see

Yeah it’ll be difficult with how quickly new movies are taking screens away from other movies but maybe worldwide it’ll be more successful
