I think the emphasis should be less on the fundamental system and more on human nature and holding people accountable, no kings type s***, no man should be idolized

Imo the big problem is wealth inequality

There will always be inequality in any system, the question is how do people respond and how do we prevent it from becoming unstoppable

I dont think capitalism is intrinsically the issue, its like the other poster said without white supremacy/colonialism we are talking about an entirely different world regardless of capitalism

Capitalism demands free trade, theres no intrinsic need for systemic growth, thats a concept that only persists because the powers that be decide to function this way

Its entirely possible to have functional societies under capitalism. The problem is when people try to take control of other people s*** and dominer every aspect of life. Thats human nature uncontrolled at work not the concept of capitalism

The inequality present in socialism is nothing compared to the inequality in capitalism.

Colonialism and white supremacy are capitalist institutions. How could these systems be present in a truly socialist society?

I dont think thats true look at communist russia/china in the 20th century, the inequality was insane between the government and the average person

I think if they never made the stock market everything would be way better

@op how ironic is it that also in this moment, those same voices are blaming the listener for being misled in their listening and how we have become as listeners due to them collectively deciding to not care about, unironically, the global economic state of the world, like their legendary predecessors in exchange for that sweet, sweet greater dollar and black capitalism views. the top most voices and their entourage have quite simply been bought out and do not posses within themselves a cognitive dissonance about the world around them in correlation to their success and others not being able to reach those same levels due to the system.

The inequality between a high ranking politburo member of the USSR and the average citizen was 16-1. The top 1% earned only 2-3x more than the average citizen.

That is not insane, and even then, it was a mistake of the socialist system and not something the system was founded on

How much have you researched the Soviet Union outside of American sources that are extremely biased against the USSR? How do you think the inequalities between Chinese/Soviet government officials compare to the inequalities seen in capitalist countries? Simply look at the most successful capitalist nation in the US, which is an oligarchy controlled by billionaires. Look what happened to Russia after the USSR fell, do you think it is more equal now?

Think about all the biggest rappers we have now that are 30 and under. How many do you think are actually equipped to get political in their music
