I don't think i'll be able to learn this map in 20 hours even. The map is so complex, the in game map doesnt help that much, and while there are set places for points of interest, they all get shuffled around between matches.
And there's THREE of them.

Man i love jan, he rewards aggressiveness so much, and i love playing aggressively. I feel bloodborne lovers will love him too, he deadass got every bloodborne mechanic.
Edit: also his heretic sigil is so f***ing cool, the emote to activate the search is stupid and activating It at the ritual sites makes from some dope and extremely rewarding pvp

Btw i found my perfect route rn, go to sewers all phase 1, then clock tower phase 2 until ritual site appears, then phase 4 beat a boss until ritual site appears again

I hope this game teaches people to take it a bit easier and roleplay more, these emotes are too cool not to use them cause people are scared s***less of being killed

My greatest matches i had 143 and 122 virtue, i was hitting 3 kill streaks in them rituals i was doing s*** i didnt even know i was capable of

What do emotes do in this game? Are they more than just cosmetic moves?

Some sigils (roles you can choose to play out in a match) require you to use emotes. When i was using pajama guy (Jan) and i was hunting heretics, i had to use an emote of him hitting his head against a special rock to find the heretics. With the dinosaur guy (senator Samir patres) he had the proposal sigil, so to propose to your possible consort you had to hit the emote

Okay cool, so you can only do those emotes if you have the required sigil? Can you change your sigil?

These specific emotes are available only if you have the right sigil equipped, otherwise they're not available. Each character has their own unique emotes too btw. And yes in the full game you can equip whatever sigil you want and there's gonna be a ton of them, of different tiers of complexity. The other non specific emotes are just cool, they don't offer any gameplay use. But thats the point - they're too cool i wanna use them without getting killed immediately!!!

I think I played for about 6 hours and I was STILL finding completely new areas and paths on the 6th hour

YouTubers did this game dirty in previews tryna say this map was smaller than nightreign’s. It’s way more dense and intricate

If you have the money for its switch 2 is 100% worth it at this point especially if you cop before the price increase next week. Gonna be even better when Smash comes later too
