KttI just know they have been getting botted constantly . Its been strugggling to stay up for weeks at a time and i went to see biannually check up and they had 80,000 people online (obviously botted) so maybe my guess is someone is fuccking with them by taking the servers down by swarming it with http request using bots, and owner doesnt care or called it quits

In all seriousness we probably need to think about an optional prem subscription like $2/mo
or a gofundme so i can pick up where i left off with app development earlier this year (TestFlight users said I should do this)
the reasons for embeds = concerns about performance on some devices etc if there’s a lot. and also they’re used by meta/bytedance to track you - which is why YouTube is just an image until you tap it
but tbf I guess they could just work like YouTube embeds - maybe w/ a setting to show full embeds by default ?

user settings to enable or disable specific social media embeds?enable = show like twitter or youtube where possible
disable = just links like how instagram currently looks
